This is the blood effect that I obtained. It was made in two layers, one for the blood splash and one for the blood smoke effect.
The blood splash is made from a texture that I got off the internet, which is usable for free, and then applied to the Particle Systems of Unity. The effect itself is from a cone emmision with a radius and angle as close to 0 as possible. The smoke is a sphere emmision with a smal radius, that uses the smoke material from the particle system. All other settings were adjustments that I made, after I watched a tutorial for a starting point.
